We are in search of a skilled and experienced HSE Manager to oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities within our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will foster a safety culture, drive continuous improvement in HSE practices, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the HSE Manager will support facility projects, contributing to the enhancement and optimization of our site. In this role, you will report to the Operations Director.

Lead Safety Culture

  • Foster a proactive safety culture through continuous communication, training, and engagement with employees at all levels.
  • Ensure facility compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Lead investigations of HSE incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Maintain detailed records and report findings to senior management.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses. Implement measures to minimize risks associated with industrial operations.
  • Evaluate and optimize working clothes and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure maximum safety and comfort for employees.

Assist in Facility Enhancement Projects

  • Including layout improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and the integration of new technologies to support operational efficiency and safety.

Lead Sustainability Initiatives

  • Support the company in transitioning towards a more eco-friendly and sustainable approach.
  • Manage and optimize solar panels, EV charging stations, waste, and water treatment; oversee waste management programs to ensure proper disposal and recycling of materials, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Manage and maintain the facility's water treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental standards and the availability of clean and safe water.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in HSE practices and lead projects aimed at improving safety and environmental performance.

TO BE

You possess a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role within an industrial setting.A Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification is required.You have profound knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, waste management, and sustainability practices.You exhibit exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to lead and influence teams, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.You are proficient in Dutch and English and have a good command of French.
