Product Marketing Manager:

Function
The Barco Residential Product Marketing Manager (PMM) has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the Residential Market and the products Barco offers in this market.
The PMM should be able to create and communicate a superior value proposition for the market in general and adapt as necessary to specific geographical regions.
The PMM focuses on the positioning of our Residential products and solutions through outbound messaging and promotion - including social media - as well as all content creation.
In close cooperation with the different product management people and marketing teams, the PMM will be responsible for capturing the voice of the customer and translating Business Objectives/Perceived Value into sales tools used by the Business Development Managers in the field.
The PMM is a key resource for the Barco Residential Sales Team.The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for:
- Value Identification
- Gain and maintain intimate knowledge and understanding of the Residential Market to identify market requirements and Business Objectives/Perceived Value.
- Activities include Market Segmentation and Competitive Monitoring/Intelligence gathering
- Value Communication
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the Barco Residential solutions in the market.
- Conceive and develop innovative marketing strategies, programs and assets that drive demand and influence the market.
- Communicate and represent the value proposition of the Barco Residential solutions internally, as well as externally with customers, partners, and other important stakeholders within the Residential market.
- Provide input in conceiving & developing innovative marketing strategies, programs and assets that drive demand and influence the market.
- Participate in and contribute to relevant forums in the Residential Industry.
- Sales Enablement
- In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, develop and deploy strategies and tools to support the frontline sales force (direct and indirect) in achieving greater effectiveness and efficiency.
- Sales Tools & Planning Tools and
Best Practices:
Competitive Win kits, White Papers, Presentations & Proposal Templates, Diagnostic Tools, TCO Models, Tender Requirement Documents, etc.
- Sales Training & Assessment
- Develop Sales and marketing documentations to support the BDM's in the field
- Create product single pagers
- Specifications and featurebased
- Create product brochures
- Story telling brochures, coffee books, range brochures, etc.
- Create and maintain the Residential web page, including content creation
- Gather and create Reference stories on the web page
- Continue to build on the overall marketing story created for Barco Residential
- Create images and videos used in all marketing material
- Create ads for digital and analog platforms
- Create and coordinate corporate communication for events.
Qualifications
- You are a visionary storyteller and resultsoriented team player with a "can do" attitude. You are selfmotivated and comfortable with prioritizing across multiple competing tasks and deadlines. You have effective communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style by geographical regions. You have a passion for excellence and are a proactive, dedicated and fast learner. Proficient in Adobe portfolio for content creation across photo, video, websites as well as printed materials are crucial.
- Master's degree in marketing OR a minimum of five years proven experience in senior marketing.
- Strong customer focus and skilled in market research and competitive analysis.
- An understanding of the CEDIA channel is a strong asset.
- Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Some travel is required for larger events such as ISE, CEDIA, and product launches.
- Reports to Global Director, Barco Residential
