Operating internationally, Soil Capital's ambition is to accompany farmers in the transition of one million hectares to more profitable and regenerative agriculture by We have developed Europe's first certified carbon payment programme for farmers, called Soil Capital Carbon. It allows farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while valuing their reduced carbon emissions and/or increased soil carbon storage on the carbon markets. Agricultural and food companies use Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool to engage their farmers in a certified lowcarbon approach and build new value opportunities through the development of certified lowcarbon value chains. _

We are looking for a
Talent Management Specialist to join our People team based in Belgium You will work closely with our HR Specialist and report to our Head of Finance.

You will have a dual-role position with responsibilities spanning from handling the entire recruitment cycle to HR/People admin topics.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Colead strategic recruitment initiatives to support Soil Capital's rapid growth, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent in line with our culture and values.
  • Design and implement creative recruiting strategies to meet the evolving staffing needs as we aim to double our size within two years.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet hiring needs and objectives. Engage in proactive talent mapping and pipeline development to prepare for future hiring needs and organizational expansion.

People Operations:

  • Develop and refine onboarding processes to integrate new hires into our fastgrowing team effectively, ensuring they embody our core values from day one.
  • Oversee the offboarding process, gathering insights to continuously improve employee experience and retention strategies.
  • Manage contracts, payroll, and HR documentation through our HRIS (BambooHR) with a high degree of accuracy and compliance, adapting processes to accommodate rapid organizational growth. Serve as a key HR point of contact, offering support and guidance to employees, and fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.

  • You have a strong interest in Soil Capital's environmental and social mission
  • You love working as a team but feel as confortable working autonomously
  • You have at least 34 years experience in recruitment and you look forward to developing experience in Talent management.
  • Experience in hard HR/ People Operation is a plus.
  • You are creative, intuitive and proactive, thriving for the best employee experience You are fluent in French & English
