We are looking for a committed
Project Manager - Digitalization to lead global projects to digitalize our airlines.
Our projects with the Flight Operations teams are part of DPDHL's Strategy 2025 "Delivering excellence in a Digital world".
In line with our GoGreen initiatives, you will enable our Airline crews and OCC teams to move to digital solutions.
This role reports to the Airline Programs Manager and is based in Diegem, Belgium.How will you contribute to the success of DHL?:
Project Leadership:Lead and direct each project stage, including scoping, analysis, design, testing, and implementation
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Clear and concise documentation and communication of processes, functional requirements, and data to ensure unambiguous understanding.
- Adapting to diverse implementation methods, from agile to packagebased or classic waterfall approaches.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios & test cases as well as the data needed for test execution.
- Establishing robust plans in collaboration with business line managers, IT colleagues, and external suppliers. Addressing risks and resolving issues pragmatically while maintaining engagement and delivering effective solutions.
- Overseeing overall project progress and resource utilization. Initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Steering enduser training and implementation tasks across global locations.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate and align with stakeholders on a global and local scale throughout various projects. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders will be instrumental in achieving project success.

Aviation Expertise:A strong understanding of aviation is highly advantageous. As a change champion, you will navigate regulatory complexities and drive transformation in a multi-airline environment.

Reporting and Communication:Create compelling presentations and provide status reports to project boards, senior management, and executives at different project stages. Your ability to convey complex information concisely will be key.

Product Management and Support:Offer ongoing support and perform day-to-day product management and 3rd line support tasks after projects go-live. Ensure the solutions remain optimized and aligned with evolving business needs.
Do you have what it takes?:
- Possession of a Master's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Background in Flight Operations Engineering and Flight Planning or industry experience with Datalink & Flight Planning, Project Management and/or IT
- Extensive knowledge of Flight Operations Systems such as LIDO, ACARS, AFTN, SITA, Netline suite, preferably as an Administrator or project implementation lead
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Aviation or Airline Flight Operations
- Project management experience
- Proficient problem solver with logical thinking abilities to provide accurate and coherent explanations/solutions for systems and processes
- Distinct leadership skills, capable of taking initiative and involving relevant parties at the appropriate times
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and argue in a structured and concise manner at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in PC skills and IT aptitude, including working knowledge of Office36
- Knowledge of SQL database querying
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
