Team: Actuarial Function
We are in search of an Actuarial Function Officer for our Actuarial Function team.
- Check adequacy and compliance of BGAAP provisions.
- Verify calculation of SII technical provisions in terms of methods used, assumptions, and data quality.
- Validate models used to calculate SII technical provisions and capital requirements.
- Evaluate rates, provisioning, reinsurance, and viability of new/modified products.
- Assess profitability of existing products.
- Evaluate reinsurance and profit-sharing programs.
Additionally,
- Participate in activities related to risk management system application and improvement;
- Enhance understanding of IFRS 17 figures;
- Monitor regulatory developments related to BGAAP, risk management, Solvency II, and sustainable development.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and draw conclusions;
- You hold a Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or equivalent experience;
- You have several years of experience in insurance risk management and/or insurance product pricing;
- You enjoy working independently and in a team;
- You are attracted to task variety, insurance domain, and attention to detail;
- You possess communication skills (oral and written) and can simplify complex documents;
- Knowledge of insurance software is a plus;
- You have a good command of Dutch or French and a solid understanding of the second national language.
Contract Type: Permanent contract
- Workplace: Brussels or Antwerp with remote work option
