**Edwards Lifesciences is looking for a new colleague to Belgium (Dilbeek) finance team to provide advice, guidance, analysis, and reporting of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthend journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; calculate, update, and assist maintenance of product standard cost in ERP system; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysis
• Prepare, file, and process monthly tax declarations (e.g. VAT) and intrastat reporting
• Analyze and interpret monthly financial results to identify financial issues, for internal departments; provide insights
• Analyze weekly and monthly trends and reconciliations (e.g., material, labor, overhead) in partnership with leaders and/or department management to develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with business department to monitor SGP percentage on products and customer level
• Calculate and analyze net sales including bonus accruals and calculations
• Respond to moderately complex questions and resolve issues from tax advisors and fiscal authorities/entities and handle audit requests
• Prepare timely month end closing including statutory annual reports
• Other incidental duties e.g. assess basic system capabilities and process efficiencies, and make recommendations for improvements.

**Description du profil

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance) and min 1 year of experience in General Ledger Accounting.
• Fluent English and Dutch. In addition, French language is a big advantage.
• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel. Knowledge of financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SP) is an advantage.
• Problemsolving, critical thinking, and investigative skills, ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
