As a R&D Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing existing products and developing new standard product groups. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing new products and optimizing existing ones.
- Managing R&D projects from inception to handover to the product implementation team.
- Creating detailed plans and documenting all R&D activities meticulously to ensure alignment with set objectives.
- Verifying designs against relevant guidelines and company standards.
- Collaborating closely with the project engineering department to meet market demands.
- Coordinating prototype development and working with test engineers.
- Collaborating with IT engineers on software applications.
- Staying updated on logistics trends.
- Leading innovation programs in collaboration with logistics consultants.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in material handling, manufacturing, automation, machine, or aerospace industries.
- Knowledge of functional safety, performance levels, and risk analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical design, and software.
- Strong teamwork and autonomy skills.
- Prioritizing innovation in your work.
- Proficiency in English (C1 or higher) and familiarity with Dutch.
