De Safety Concepts & Contractor Manager ontwikkelt, implementeert en beheert veiligheidsprocedures voor Elia's infrastructuurprojecten en contractanten. Dit vereist nauwe samenwerking met verschillende afdelingen om veiligheid tijdens ontwerp, uitvoering en onderhoud te garanderen. Daarnaast begeleidt deze manager de contractanten om te zorgen dat ze voldoen aan Elia's veiligheidseisen en bijdragen aan een sterke veiligheidscultuur.
Kerntaken
De Safety Concepts & Contractor Manager ontwikkelt een strategisch plan om veiligheid van ontwerp tot uitvoering door contractoren te waarborgen en werkt samen met het H&S departement voor de implementatie ervan binnen de organisatie. De Safety Concepts & Contractor Manager staat in voor de uitwerking en opvolging van een " contractors community " in de verschillende commodities (lijnwerken, snoeiwerken, elektrische werken,...), teneinde alle stakeholders via een lessons learned principe van elkaar te laten leren. De functie omvat het beheren van veiligheidscoördinatie van ontwerp tot indienstname, gericht op het verbeteren van efficiëntie en veiligheid voor diverse projecten en contractors, inclusief onderhoud en inbedrijfstelling. De Safety Concepts & Contractor Manager ontwikkelt de strategie en de actie- en projectplannen voor onze contractors. Dit draagt bij aan de implementatie van een betere veiligheidscultuur (gemeten aan de hand van de Safety Culture Ladder). De safety Concepts & Contractor Manager staat in voor de uitwerking van het beleid inzake selectie en toewijzing van contractoren , hun competenties en opleidingstrajecten, de safety-vereisten én eventuele sancties. De manager ontwikkelt een strategie voor safety audits om de naleving van veiligheidsinstructies en de vaardigheden van contractors te verifiëren. Hij/zij zorgt ook voor de implementatie en opvolging om de veiligheidsnormen continu te verbeteren. De Safety Concepts & Contractor manager staat in voor de opmaak van het beleid dat het " safety by design principe" te dient te waarborgen. De Safety Concepts & Contractor manager vertegenwoordigt actief het H&S departement en leidt via stakeholdermanagement de ontwikkeling en opvolging van safety concepten en projecten.
