• Maintain the Postgres Database environment (e.g. database services, automation, security, incident handling ...).
• Represent the Postgres team in technical projects (e.g. implementing a new backup solution, new Linux version, ...)
• Provide the necessary expert knowledge and support to the application team (e.g. performance).
• Maintain frameworks and scripts, written in Perl, Python, Ansible.

You can be involved in the other DBA tasks of the team

• Follow up security recommendations (proactively and reactively) and minimize the operational risk
• Interact with all systems interfacing with the Postgres database, like Centrify, UAC, Cyberark, VMWare, Bladelogic, ServiceNow.
• Support the life cycle management of all offered Postgres Database products

o Postgres server on linuxo Client / driverso User tools (DBeaver, pgAdmin)

• Handle backup and recovery

Profile Need qualificationsNecessary technical knowledge/experience

• Postgres DBA knowledge
• Enough Linux experience to do systems management on servers
• Scripting experience: the ability to read, understand and debug existing code as well as write new code.
