You drive the development and the use of Carmeuse products and solutions in support of the Marketing and sales teams.

You represent Carmeuse in promoting and defending the use of its products in Construction within industrial associations and standardization.

Your responsibilities

  • You provide support or expertise to the Tech Partner and Innovation teams on any projects related to constructions markets (Civil engineering and building) as required in Europe.
  • You manage visits onsite with trials and testing at the customer and your are responsible for the writing of reports including the results, comments, and interpretation of the tests.
  • Yo provide support or take the lead for specific development project work like the new or improved products and solutions and contributes for the implementation of technical results on the field and to the market.
  • You manage or request Laboratory testing performed by Application laboratories, Analytical laboratory, and external laboratories.
  • You manage the production of technical reports and other management reports including scientific and technology studies.
  • You provide support and expertise to quality and production for Carmeuse products in construction regarding technical specification, qualification and certification and performances.
  • You follow standardization and regulations related to construction and attend meetings of working groups on behalf of Carmeuse or Associations (ex: EuLa) to protect or promote Carmeuse products and solutions.

Your Profile

Requirements:

  • PhD and/or Engineer graduated in Civil engineering and/or Building
  • Min. 510 years' experience in the cement or construction sectors


 Language: French
  • English fluent
  • Open to travel in Europe +/ 25 to 40%

Needed knowledge

  • Academic and applicative knowledge in construction and building materials and especially cement and binders physicochemistry.
  • Knowledge in geotechnics and especially soil treatment and earthworks technologies
  • Knowledge in building materials design and processing (concrete, blocs and bricks, mortars, )

  • Planning & organization & management of priorities; ability to work autonomously and write reports
