**JOUW OPDRACHT**
- Je besteedt minimum 90% van je opdracht aan wetenschappelijk onderzoek in het kader van de voorbereiding van een doctoraatsproefschrift.
- Je begeleidt studenten bij hun masterproef.
- Je werkt mee aan de interne en externe dienstverlening van de vakgroep.

**JOUW PROFIEL**
- Je bent houder van een diploma van Master in Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen of Farmaceutische Ingenieurswetenschappen of Chemische Ingenieurswetenschappen.
- Voor diploma's behaald buiten de Europese Unie dient een gelijkwaardigheidsattest van NARIC voorgelegd te worden. Aan de diplomavoorwaarden moet voldaan zijn op datum van aanstelling.
- Je hebt interesse in wetenschappelijke en/of projectmatig onderzoek en dienstverlening.
- Je bent geïnteresseerd in farmaceutische productie-innovatie om het produceren van de geneesmiddelen van de toekomst mogelijk te maken, en dit aan de hand van modellering en simulatie gebaseerd onderzoekstools.
- Je hebt affiniteit met modeleren en farmaceutisch procesinzicht.
- Je heeft interesse in programmeren in Python / Matlab / C++, etc.
- Onderwijservaring en deelname aan nascholing, conferenties etc. strekt tot aanbeveling.
- Je beschikt over didactische en communicatieve kwaliteiten.
- Je bent gemotiveerd om een doctoraat te behalen in het domein van de farmaceutische techniek.

**YOUR TASKS**
- At least _90% _of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation
- You supervise students working on their master's thesis.
- You will assist in the internal and external services of the department.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You hold a degree of Master in Pharmaceutical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Bioscience engineering.

For diplomas awarded outside the European Union, a certificate of equivalence (NARIC) must be submitted. The degree requirements need to be fulfilled at the start of your appointment.
- You are interested in academic and/or project-based research and services.
- You are interested in pharmaceutical manufacturing innovation for tomorrow's drug products using modeling and simulation tools.
- You have an affinity with modeling and pharmaceutical process understanding.
