As
Security Infrastructure Architect (SIA) you will be responsible for:
- Design Secure Infrastructure for Public and Private Cloud
- Design and IT Project Management for projects related to Secure Interconnectivity to, in and between Public and Private Cloud
- Collaboration with other departments of the Commission and other EU Institutions
- Creating designs and blueprints of Security Architecture

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
- Master Degree of 5 years
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Very good knowledge of cloud networking and interconnectivity solutions, like Equinix Fabric
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS and PaaS) security on Azure and AWS
- Good knowledge of general networking (proxy, load balancing network security rules )
- Ability to give technical presentations
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in cloud migrations
- Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences, in English and French
- Analysis and problemsolving skills
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents, in English and French
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team
- Ability to work in multicultural environment, on multiple large projects
- Excellent Team Player
- High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the architect will have elevated privileges to the entire public cloud infrastructure of the European Commission.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- 4 years in verifying the design of network security rules, with at least part of the experience on Cloud Connectivity
CERTIFICATION AND STANDARDS
- Relevant certifications of Associate (AWS) or Intermediate (Azure) level on Infrastructure, Security, Architecture or Network are desired, but not required.
