Sopra Steria is looking for a Security Engineer in order to reinforce its fast growing Security team.


As Senior Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security team involved in various Security projects including: cybersecurity, cryptography, PKI, reverse engineering, malware detection, penetration testing, Security of critical systems, Security Analysis,...

Your mission

Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information

Identify and define system security requirements

Collaborate with the architect on system security design

Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols

Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices

Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents

Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

Qualifications

Your profile:
Degree in Computer Science or related field

Fluent in English as this is the communication language in the region and Group, active knowledge of French and/or Dutch

Diplomacy and pragmatism:
ability to transform governance into technical solutions

Project Management skills is a plus

European Citizenship, must be able to pass a background check, valid clearance to EU Secret and NATO secret is a plus

Your knowledge/experience:
Experience in cryptography, encryption technologies and authentication schemes.

Implementation of a PKI infrastructure using Hardware Security modules, configuring certificate profiles, managing certificate lifecycle and software maintenance.

Knowledge of PKI technical standards : X.509, ASN.1 and PKCS

Development/Troubleshooting/Debugging in Perl, PHP, Java, PowerShell, Bash, ...

Operating systems configuration:
Windows and Linux

DBMS and Operating Systems Security settings as well as OS hardening

Basic knowledge of DevOps standards in the context of Integration projects : use of GIT (GitLab), use of Collections and Playbooks (Ansible)
