Om onze samenleving veilig te houden, zetten we bij de **FOD Binnenlandse Zaken **in op digitale modernisering**.** Daarbij is er een bijzondere rol weggelegd voor de **Integration Architect** en de **Solution Architect** bij de **Algemene Directie Innovatie en Digitale Oplossingen**.
Binnen deze dynamische organisatie kan jij bijdragen aan de uitbouw van een hedendaagse IT infrastructuur, de goede werking daarvan en de dienstverlening naar de gebruikers.
Aan de hand van de verwachtingen van de klant of technische vereisten die je worden aangeleverd vanuit het projectteam **maak je een technische analyse en een architecturaal schema. **Zo kom je te weten welke infrastructurele vereisten van toepassing zijn.
Op basis van bestaande documentatie en code maak jij linken naar bestaande applicaties en analyseer je hoe daar wijzigingen in kunnen aangebracht worden. **Zo bouw jij een advies uit** inzake technologische keuzes dat je meegeeft op projectniveau.
Je staat er niet alleen voor, maar werkt nauw samen met IT-professionals binnen de organisatie, zoals andere solution architecten, infrastructuurteams, service delivery managers,
Wanneer iedereen op dezelfde golflengte zit, zorg je ervoor dat er duidelijke doelen gedefinieerd worden voor **alle technische aspecten van** **een project en beheer je de juiste uitvoering** ervan. Dat doe je door:
Een architecturaal schema op te maken.
- De verschillende taken op te lijsten en te verdelen.
- Gedetailleerde specificaties uit te werken voor de voorgestelde oplossingen.
- De oplossing te implementeren, configureren en programmeren en de kwaliteit van de oplossing steeds te bewaken aan de hand van verschillende testmethodes in samenwerking met het testteam.
Doorheen het project **communiceer je voortdurend met de betrokken diensten** en dat binnen een meertalige omgeving. Je ondersteunt minder ervaren collega's en je helpt mee aan de kennisoverdracht naar het services team zodat zij de operationele support kunnen uitvoeren.
Je werkt actief mee aan de **nationale implementaties van de Europese projecten** zoals het VIS (Visa Information System), Smart Borders en SIS (Schengen Information System). Hierin speel je een sleutelrol als architect bij Binnenlandse Zaken waar deze nationale implementaties worden geïmplementeerd in samenwerking met de verschillende nationale partners zoals de Federale Politie, Buitenlandse Zaken en de Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken. Daarnaast help je mee aan de rapportering naar eu-LISA, het Europees agentschap dat deze grootschalige IT systemen op Europees niveau implementeert en help je mee de deliverables op te leveren en deadlines te halen op nationaal niveau.

De **Algemene Directie Digitale Innovatie en Oplossingen** stippelt een overkoepelende ICT-strategie uit en **beheert de gemeenschappelijke systeem
- en netwerkinfrastructuren**. Wij ondersteunen en versterken de diverse afdelingen van de FOD Binnenlandse Zaken. Zo staat onze ICT-helpdesk steeds paraat en staan wij de directies bij in hun informaticaprojecten en applicatieontwikkelingen.
