You'll work closely with the finance team to prepare accurate financial statements, manage the monthly closing process, and support our adherence to local and international accounting standards.

A Typical Day

Work together with our accounting manager on all aspects of our accounting: AP/AR/Bank reconciliation for the Belgian entity. Responsible for ensuring that all activities and processes carried out comply with standards, policies, instructions and local legislation. Support / assist annual audit process tasks. Providing support during the monthly/quarterly closing process. Responsible for preparing the monthly vat declaration and other statutory obligations. Prepare the annual accounts. Prepare corporation tax returns.

Your Expertise

Bachelor in Accounting 1 -2 years experience in an Administration role related to Finance Knowledge of BE GAAP and statutory obligations, knowledge of IFRS Eye for efficiency improvements. Have a proactive attitude. Fluency in Dutch and English.
