As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their branch operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the logistics industry, who can drive operational excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and inspire a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of branch staff.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure targets are met.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage branch budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Report on branch performance to senior management.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and grow the client base.
- Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and expand market share.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the branch.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Over 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing branch operations and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, transportation management, and warehousing.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
