Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior AFFERA Therapy Account Consultant to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.


A Day in the Life

Reporting the operating unit this role is critical in providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the use of the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment (Generators, SW functionalities, pump and accessories).
  • Provide inservice training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensure technology acceptance.
  • Be an active participant to the development of advanced clinical workflows.
  • Play an active role in the planning and effective installation of the AFFERA Mapping and Ablation System and efficiently collaborate with the technical department.
  • Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centers.
  • Share clinical best practices with colleagues to continuously optimize customer experience.
  • Work with field service engineers on technical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate excellent ability to plan cases and define priorities to maximize case coverage.
  • Develop bestinclass professional customer relationships.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on system utilization and participate in NPD discussions.
  • Stay abreast of all products information across the Medtronic CAS portfolio, instructions for use (IFU) and relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
  • Ability to manage highstress situations with a clear problemsolving mindset.
  • Provide mentoring for new Medtronic colleagues and peers as requested.
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness to customer or other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular territory reviews in the account team with the Sales Manager.
  • Update and document activities in the CRM tool.
  • Comply with all company trainings.
  • Participate in regional and occasionally international congresses, symposia and workshops.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines.
  • 3+ years of clinical EP experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.
  • Experience working in medical device, pharmaceutical, life science industry.


 Fluency in English
  • Other European languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to be flexible and travel as required.
  • Mastery of standard PC tools is essential.
  • Independent, selfreliant thinking and acting as well as a sense of responsibility.
  • Enthusiasm and decisiveness.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in EP Labs and achieve vendor credentialing

Nice to Haves

  • IBHRE or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work well is a crossfunctional environment.
