Job Description:


ARHS Digital is looking for an experienced Java/Openshift Lead Developer for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the national health insurance sector.


In this position, you will be responsible as technical lead/senior developer for the technical support of the team and ensure that best practices and quality are maintained.


Role & responsibilities

  • Keep close contact with the product owner
  • Support development and look for (technical) solutions
  • Communicate efficiently with various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, scrum master & testers)
  • Guarantee the quality of the delivered artifacts within the teams
  • Ensure that the sprint deliveries are maintained, together with the PO and the scrum master
  • Make technical improvement proposals and defend them within the team and architects
  • Support the tester/developers in automating functional tests
  • Analyze integrations with other parties and systems
  • Develop technical designs and architecture based on a functional analysis
  • Monitor daily operations

Qualifications:

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent by experience
  • Independent worker and a team player
  • You have a sense of quality, accuracy, and a nononsense mentality
  • Stressresistant, resultoriented, proactive & dynamic
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other national language

Technical skills

  • Thorough knowledge of
    SQL, JEE7, JAVA SE8, Webservices (SOAP & REST), EJB, rich GUI's (Vaadin), Jenkins & Openshift:
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Good analysis and synthesis skills
  • Knowledge of JProfiler, IntelliJ, JMeter or K
  • Familiar with Cloud, Easter & IAC Principles
  • Experience with
  • Setup & management of CI/CD in Jenkins (Multibranches, Pipelines,...)
  • Concepts such as Microservices, BCE, Docker Containers & Gitflow
  • Knowledge of
  • Oracle DB12 & 19C
  • ArgoCD
  • Grafana/Influx
  • Prometheus
  • Knowledge of
any of the following would be considered an asset

  • JavaScript, Cucumber, Test Driven Development, DevOps
