Role as
Database Administrator:
(mandatory)
You are responsible for the installations, upgrades and configurations of the Oracle database environments in order to successfully set up and manage the IT environment of the internal/external customer.
You know most of the features of the latest database versions and can work with them according to the customer's requirements.
On the basis of a rotation, you are responsible for the permanence and service to the end users to guarantee the agreed service levels.
You ensure up to date procedures and draw configurations in order to give the other engineers the necessary tools to guarantee the stability of the environment.
You provide support for incidents with end users of the internal/external customer in order to limit or avoid interruption of the work.
DB Machine Administrator: (nice to have)
You will guide and supervise installations, periodic patching and configurations of engineered systems such as exadata on premise and ExaCC, ODA, ZDRLA or ZFS appliance according to customer requirements.
You will be part of a more specialised subteam that will take on this task for several customers in a similar way.
Because of your specific expertise you are an advisor for fellow DBAs, but also for architects, (pre-) sales and project managers regarding the specific approach of Engineered Systems.
Optional knowledge in
OCI:
(nice to have)
Experience in setting up and managing environments in OCI are an important asset. The gradual expansion of our customer base in this domain provides additional opportunities to leverage this specialization.
