The Company is a significant player in the Hospitality industry. We are looking for a Conference Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of conferences and events. The ideal candidate must possess superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality conferences that align with our clients' objectives and expectations.

  • Meeting & Event Coordination:
  • Ensure end-to-end quality for meetings and events, overseeing seamless execution.
  • Coordinate elements such as property management, contract negotiation, personnel planning, and orders placement for a smooth event experience.
  • Plan and supervise event deliveries, offering guidance on the event day.
  • Client and Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Be the go-to person for both suppliers and clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collect feedback and pinpoint areas for enhancement to build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Operational Efficiency and Best Practices:
  • Research and establish best practices for daily operations, collaborating with various departments.
  • Optimize current processes, evaluate new systems for enhanced efficiency.
  • Enhance customer service accessibility and clarity, addressing communication and timeliness issues.
  • Sales Management:
  • Maintain and grow the client base through effective relationship management.
  • Attract new clients, network at events, and aim for full venue bookings.
  • Support in negotiating partner contracts for mutually beneficial terms.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Establish and work towards sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Report on individual and team targets, contribute to financial forecasts.
  • Ensure meticulous invoicing follow-up and seamless financial processes for client satisfaction.

Profile Requirements:

  • Languages: Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Prior experience in sales and hospitality management, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Financial proficiency with the capacity to analyze and report on financial data.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal collaborations.
  • Experience in customer-oriented roles such as hotels, conference centers, or tourism.
  • Understanding of sales approaches and client management.
  • Knowledge of office and accounting applications.

Offer:

Salary: €2,500 - €3,500 per month

The role begins as a temporary position, with the opportunity for a permanent spot on the team following a successful trial period.
