We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the hotel, maintaining effective collaboration with other Heads of Departments (HODs), and overseeing the housekeeping operations including external suppliers. This is a hands-on, operational management role that requires excellent communication skills in both French and English, flexibility to handle last-minute requests, and a proactive, quality-oriented approach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the housekeeping team to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Scheduling:
    Create and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with other HODs to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Event Cleanliness: Ensure all event spaces are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards before and after events.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with external suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Communication:
    Maintain open and effective communication with the team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Flexibility:
    Respond quickly and effectively to last-minute requests and changes.
  • Proactive Approach: Identify and address potential issues before they become problems, continuously seeking ways to improve the housekeeping operations.


Profile

  • Enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional service
    that goes above and beyond.
  • Charismatic communication skills, capable of effortlessly connecting with people from all walks of life.
  • A natural flair for problem-solving and thinking on your feet.
  • Fluency in English and French is a must; proficiency in additional languages is a delightful bonus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. Experience with PMI, ONQ, and Synergy (housekeeping systems) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, quality-oriented mindset.
