Senior Accountant – Belgium Border, up to 75k

We are delighted to present one of our oldest clients, who is seeking a Senior Accountant for their fiduciary to help manage the team's workload and prevent employee overload as the entity develops excellently.

Our client has a strong reputation in Luxembourg and offers multiple services such as Accounting and Corporate services to their high-level UK clients with complex structures.

Their portfolio includes Funds, Private Equity/Real Estate, RAIF, Hedge Funds, and more.

Located near the Belgian border in modern and comfortable premises, our client has strategically established themselves to provide easy access for their employees, allowing them to avoid heavy traffic into the center of Luxembourg and enjoy the time saved for personal activities or family.

Your Responsibilities | Senior Accountant – Fiduciary – PSF – PFS – TAX

• As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform the bookkeeping for your clients and, in certain cases, review the bookkeeping of less experienced colleagues.
• You will be required to manage the accounting of your portfolio from A to Z, which will be composed of financial structures such as funds or PE/RE.
• At the end of the year, you will need to prepare the annual accounts for your clients so they can submit them on time and avoid penalties.
• For this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns for your clients and, at times, assisting your less experienced colleagues in preparing their clients' tax returns.

• As a Senior Accountant, you should have at least 3 years of previous experience in the accounting sector, preferably in a fiduciary, service provider, or a Big Four firm.
• For this role, our client is looking for someone with a Bac+3 degree in accounting or a similar field.
• Since you will be interacting with various clients in Europe, our client is seeking someone who speaks fluent French and has a good level of English (German and Luxembourgish will be considered a plus but are not mandatory).
