Overview:
As the Laboratory Supplies & Services Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our laboratory supply chain management.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to optimizing our inventory and ensuring efficient order processing.

You'll be the driving force behind our laboratory's seamless functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of organizing orders for laboratory materials across our Toekomstlaan campus, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
• Monitor external services provided to our laboratories, overseeing calibrations, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
• Evaluate alternative suppliers, focusing on product quality, availability, and costeffectiveness.
• Allocate purchases within the budgets of respective sections to maximize efficiency.
• Utilize your negotiation skills to secure contracts for recurring purchases and services, driving cost savings.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our general procurement department to optimize goods and services specifically tailored to our laboratory needs.
• Lead the coordination of annual supplier and external laboratory evaluations, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform tasks outlined in the system procedures and internal quality system guidelines.

Qualifications:

Who you are?

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, informatics, or economics or equivalent by experience
• Desired: Basic knowledge of chemistry, enhancing your understanding of our specialized field.
• Showcase your exceptional communication skills, fluently conversing in both Dutch and English, enabling effective collaboration.
• Harness your digital prowess, utilizing tools like Word, Excel, and ERP systems, with an enthusiasm to drive digitization further.
