Together with the Sales team of Benelux, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for building business in a sustainable way with customers mainly in the retail channel in Belgium.


MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Drawing up and executing the customer strategy and translating this into a commercial annual plan;
  • Optimize distribution, visibility and promo execution of the Ecotone portfolio at your customers;
  • Relationship management of existing customers and acquiring new customers in accordance with sales and brand plans;
  • In collaboration with Trade marketing, make the right choices on assortment and implement the company's category vision. Also look for opportunities to introduce new (international) brands;
  • Close followup of customer performance, customer budget and conditions;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Category Management, Supply, Finance, Field sales) to ensure growth together;
  • Support with forecasting, customer documents, promo proposals, price offers etc.;
  • Cooperation with the sales team to ensure a perfect implementation of customer and brands plans and activations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • You hold a Master or Bachelor's Degree in a commercial direction;
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience of which minimum 2 year of experience with account management in Belgium
  • Knowledge of Belgian FMCG & retail market
  • Dynamic, adaptable, proactive and energetic team player;
  • Strong business sense and entrepreneurial skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Good relationship skills;
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude to work;
  • Fluent in Dutch & French;
  • Excellent written (power point presentation) and oral communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge, experience and good feeling with Organic Food Market;
