Four our client Belfius Insurance, we are looking for a motivated Functional Analyst with a passion for the life insurance domain.
As a Functional Analyst, you will play a key role being the bridge between business and IT-stakeholders.You will be responsible for conducting both functional and technical analyses alongside scripting tasks, with a focus on the life insurance domain.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a bridge between the business and IT
- Conducting functional analyses within the life insurance domain
- Performing highlevel technical analyses
- Liaising with various business stakeholders and IT teams
- Communicating with package vendors and collaborating on solutions
- Performing installations of the Talk and Ul3 packages
- Executing scripting tasks for the Ul3 package
- Creating test documents and conducting functional and integration tests
- Contributing to the development of additional functionality through scripting
We are looking for someone who not only masters the functional aspect but is also willing to perform technical tasks and further develop in this area.
Ideally you have the following skills:
- Experience in functional analysis, preferably within the financial sector and specifically in life insurance
- Eager to learn, communicative, and able to work independently
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as VbScript, or willingness to learn
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with an understanding of the other language
- Fluent in English communication
Additionally, it is important that you:
- Have an affinity for IT and are willing to grow in the field of analysis
- Are a team player and can collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders
