Verhaert On-site Consulting is
a Belgian consulting firm founded in 2006. The organization provides solutions for companies and organizations in various sectors, including aerospace, medical devices, automotive and consumer electronics.
Together we work on challenging projects for leading clients and offer expertise in concept development, engineering, prototyping, testing and project management.
Verhaert On-site Consulting is part of the Verhaert Group Masters in Innovation.
Your role:
-
Project Management:
- Oversee Platform and ASIC technology development projects from concept to closure, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
- Lead crossfunctional project teams, providing guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
- Proactively identify capability needs throughout project phases.
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to defining future platforms and product directions.
- Develop concept proposals for innovative designs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to identify critical success factors with significant market impact.
- Manage interactions with key internal players and external collaborators.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Demonstrate knowledge of standards and regulations in the medical device industry.
Project Administration:
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and other administrative tasks.
Conflict Resolution:
- Handle conflicts and challenges with mínimal guidance.
Risk Management:
- Plan, conduct, and support risk management activities, including DFMEA and hazard analysis.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct project and design reviews in accordance with Cochlear's quality system.
- Specify, plan, conduct, and manage verification activities.
Vendor Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with external ASIC design, foundries, and supply vendors.
- Work with design vendors to ensure the delivery of quality designs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement external learnings for process improvements and new tools.
- Act as a role model for diverse and inclusive culture.
Your profile:
-
Master in electronic engineering degree or equivalent by experience.
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall methods.
3+ years or relevant experience in project management
:
- Ability to understand and discuss technical issues at both a high and low level.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Regular European (typ. 2x / year) and occasional intercontinental travel (typ. 12x/year) may be required
- This job opportunity requires a valid Belgian Working Permit_
