In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about.

The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own.

Now, 6 years later, our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic pet lover who has a true passion for pet nutrition and an interest in petfood legislation.

As a Nutrition Intern, you will support the Product team with a variety of projects that will focus on the Edgard & Coopers Nutritional Claims Database which enables team members to create the most innovative petfood products.

So if you're someone who has great attention to detail, loves to sink their teeth into a challenging project, help ensure the Product team is equipped with the right information to create the coolest products and are ready to dive deeper into various parts of the Product Development world, then this might be THE role for you

This is an unpaid internship

What will be in your bowl?

• Redefine our Nutritional Claims database
• Assist our Pet Nutritionist in literature research
• Ensure we are up to speed with the latest pet food legislation
• Review nutritional publications in the pet food world and evaluate their quality
• Support Customer Happiness Team with nutritional questions
• Being a Product team Intern means life is full of surprises, so we might throw in some other fun stuff to do

What skills & tricks should you bring?

• Deep affinity with pets and nutrition, ofcourse
• You are eager to learn more about the world of petfood and petfood legislation
• You are available for at least 4 months
• You are still enrolled in a university and are studying towards an Animal Science related Bachelor/Master's Degree
• You have a good understanding on what makes a research paper good or not
• You are fluent in English
• Having other nutrition related experiences is a real plus
