Quality Lead Specialist

What will you be doing?
- Managing the quality management system (QMS) for Belgium;
- Maintaining the QMS on the SharePoint website;
- Harmonizing operational processes and sharing best practices;
- Supporting the entire company as well as various departments and disciplines to achieve/maintain the following certifications in Belgium:
ISO9001:2015, BOSEC (Fire Alarm Installer), BOSEC (Fire Suppression Installer), FISQ certification holder for Detection and alarm systems, gas and powder extinguishing systems, INCERT (Surveillance Center), BRL100 F-gases, possible new certification paths in the future.
- Ensuring compliance statements;
- Driving continuous improvement in performance by regularly evaluating processes;
- Conducting internal audits and addressing/coordinating identified shortcomings and recommendations;
- Assisting in registering complaints, performing root cause analysis, and making improvement recommendations based on complaint analysis;
- Introducing new employees to the QMS and processes;
- Providing advice on efficiency improvement by simplifying processes;
- Contributing to Sales tenders regarding quality topics;
- Ensuring alignment of processes across departments resulting in a total process of solely value-adding actions.
Where will you work?
- You are part of a dynamic team responsible for Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment in the Benelux; You report to the Regional Quality Manager;
- Your base is Groot-Bijgaarden (Brussels), with the possibility of partial remote work;
- You will visit other JCI locations and customer sites if necessary.
What will you bring?
- A completed HBO degree in Quality Management or a similar field or demonstrably equivalent level of work and thinking;
- Knowledge of fire safety and security systems or willingness to further develop this;
- An (electro)technical background is a plus;
- Knowledge of TPM, WCM, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus;
- Flexible availability within Belgium and the Benelux with a category B driver's license;
- Familiarity with common MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams;
- Dutch, French, and English proficiency in both speech and writing;
- Good social and communication skills;
- Ability to motivate a team without hierarchical authority;
- A flexible, creative, and proactive attitude.
