Tree Energy Solutions (TES) is a green hydrogen company supplying carbon-neutral energy on-demand at industrial scale.

TES's prime objective is to accelerate the energy transition by leveraging existing technologies to reach customers with green hydrogen, green gas and green power to accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels and to adopt a circular carbon economy.

To diversify its supply, TES is developing its portfolio in strategic locations across the Americas, Middle East and Australia.

To deliver on its ambitions TES is currently building a world class top management team. In parallel the organization is growing from 50+ employees today to several hundred by the end of next year.

What will you do:

We are currently establishing a digitalization and analytics team at TES that will be responsible for setting up a digital twin of the TES cycle enabling different functions such as operations and maintenance, real asset time monitoring, optimization, and decision-making.

As a Data Steward, you will work towards the data asset management, database, and cloud infrastructure setup at TES.

You will be responsible for:

• Creation and implementation of processes and procedures for data collection, storage, use and security
• Connecting and maintaining the data connection interfaces with various tools such as ERP, onprem files, Engineering systems etc.
• Gathering, cleaning, and processing data from different sources.
• Ensuring the integrity of data from different systems and making sure they are efficiently utilized, maintained and available throughout the company.
• Assuring data quality and trust in the data, creating standard definitions for the organization to follow as well as setting and owning a governance system.

Zaventem/Belgium, Germany and hybrid working

Who you are:

• Proficiency in database setup and management
• Several years of experience in enterprise data management
• Experience in handling structured, semistructured and unstructured datasets
• Ability to create and manage data flows and data models (e.g., Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSAS)
• Knowledge in common Cloud Databases and their integration would be a plus (e.g. Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS DynamoDB)
• Handson mentality with experience of setting up and managing systems from ground up.
• Strong analytical thinking
• Passion in exploring new technologies as well as advancing and operating data platforms
• Fluent English skills; advanced German language skills would be a plus

Please note:

This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to contribute towards database setup, programming and managing the integrity of our data assets.
