We are looking for an enterprising and motivated person, who shares our enthusiasm for regenerative and low-carbon agriculture, and who wants to learn how to convince farmers to change their practices for a better world

Soil Capital is a mission-driven company, an expert in regenerative agriculture and the low-carbon transition of agricultural systems.

Active internationally, Soil Capital has set itself the ambition of supporting farmers in the transition of one million hectares around the world towards more profitable and regenerative agriculture by 2025.

We have developed the first carbon remuneration program for farmers in Europe, called Soil Capital Carbon.

This allows farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while promoting the reduction of their carbon emissions and/or the increase in carbon storage in the soil on the carbon markets.

Agricultural and food companies use Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool, to engage their farmers in a low-carbon approach and build new valorization opportunities through the development of certified low-carbon agricultural sectors.


Soil Capital Carbon is supported by mySoilCapital, an online platform for farmers and partners that collects, processes and delivers data so farmers can put low-carbon regenerative agriculture into practice.

Your Mission:

Geographical Zone Ownership:

  • Manage and own a designated geographical zone for farmer recruitment.
  • Understand and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the assigned zone.
  • Coach and collaborate with interns within the assigned zone.

Farmer Acquisition and Renewal:

  • Manage inbound opportunities (MQL, SQL).
  • Proactively hunt for new opportunities and identify and qualify new sales.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals with farmers.
  • Encode farmer profiles and ensure timely renewal.

Partner Relationship Building:

  • Identify opportunities with local partners (less than 50 farmers).
  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners (less than 50 farmers).
  • Define clear rollout roadmaps for partnerships.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with partners and coordinate technical support for the implementation of Soil Capital solutions.
  • Organize and lead activities with local partners and their farmers, such as field days, webinars, and training sessions.

Contribution to Improvement:

  • Contribute to sales operations improvement.
  • Provide insights for product improvements. Actively contribute to continuous improvement in general processes.

Criteria:

Education:Bachelor's degree to Bac+5 in a commercial or agricultural field.

Business Development Experience:

  • Proven experience in direct B2C sales and account management with a track record of high growth indicators.
  • Relevant experience in managing relationships with external partners to endcustomer acquisition.

Entrepreneurial Spirit:

  • Autonomous and organized with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dynamic and daring approach.

Language Skills:Proficient in French with a working knowledge of English.
