Job Description

At AbbVie Liège Odyssea Pharma, we focus on women's health with an innovative intrauterine device system. Our site is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers, emphasizing a strong collaborative mindset across all departments and teams.

We are currently seeking a QC Lead/Supervisor to join our dynamic quality control team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing training of technicians
  • Participate in planning laboratory activities
  • Contribute to internal and external projects
  • Support audits as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Review analysis files and verify results conformity
  • Manage lab events and ensure sampling and product control
  • Supervise environmental control activities
  • Participate in investigations and report drafting
  • Conduct trend analyses and calculate KPIs
  • Ensure QC operations comply with quality requirements
  • Monitor and collaborate with analytical subcontractors
  • Maintain equipment and premises qualification in QC department
  • Ensure master data maintenance in the LIMS system
  • Maintain the sample library

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of QC experience in pharmaceutical industry or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry or Ph.D. with 2+ years of experience in Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficient in English (B2 level)
  • Knowledge of GMP, EP, USP, ICH guidelines, EudraLex
  • Familiarity with Office suite
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Project management experience is beneficial
  • Equipment/methods validation knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with LIMS or similar data management systems
