What You Will Do
Are you ready to join the Logistics Control Room team at Delhaize? As a Logistics Control Room employee, you will be at the heart of our logistics distribution centers in Zellik, collaborating with dedicated colleagues from various teams to ensure the smooth processing of goods for our customers. Your day will involve various responsibilities, including:
- Ensuring the seamless operation of hardware and software within the Logistics department, addressing and minimizing any issues that may arise.
- Analyzing data and continuously working towards optimizing existing logistics processes, documenting procedures, and implementing them within our logistics warehouse department.
- Participating in the implementation of various logistics projects, testing them, training employees on new tools and methods, and ensuring a seamless integration on-site.
- Providing guidance to colleagues on processes and rules to ensure smooth quality control procedures.
Who You Are
- You thrive on organizing tasks and keeping operational processes running smoothly.
- You excel in constructive communication with all involved parties.
- You show initiative and creativity in coming up with solutions in unexpected situations, collaborating with your team.
- To effectively communicate with all colleagues at our distribution center, you have a good command of Dutch or French (with basic knowledge of the other language).
- You have basic MS Office knowledge and strong computer skills.
- You are analytical and have a strong IT-technical mindset.
Where You'll Work
You will be based at our distribution center in Zellik and can choose between 2 fixed schedules:
12:00-19:32 (with a fixed Saturday and 1 day off during the week)
13:30-21:02 (with a fixed Sunday and 1 day off during the week)
