The team you'll be part of


It's an inter-cultural team which provides the Network Infrastructure procurement organization with marketing and technology information and component price estimates.


The purpose and added value of the Program Office team is to analyze business needs/as-is and orchestrate transformation/to-be, innovation, automation and deployment in an efficient, transparent and pragmatic way.

Drive strategic initiatives & dialogues, provide outside-in view from market and industry.

What you will learn and contribute to


During the internship you will be integrated in an agile team and will work on several projects/activities related to cost estimation and data analysis.


You will develop AI/ML models for price estimations, test their accuracy, create documentation and discuss their results with the procurement team.

You will also create semiconductor market intelligence Power BI reports for Nokia procurement management and product management.

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will:

  • Develop AI models to provide cost estimates for components we buy. The purpose of these models is to identify components with a potential for price reductions and provide that information to the people in the procurement organization.
  • Improve/ extend existing component cost models and develop new models for several component categories.
  • Collect, analyze and summarize available information on the semiconductor landscape. Create predictions out of it with the use of AI/ML and present it in a way which allows Nokia to make strategic procurement and supply chain decisions.
  • Enhance and automate information capturing, storing and analysis of Semiconductor Information from various sources.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Experience in excel and data analysis
  • Knowledge in Orange3, AI model development
  • Knowledge in Power BI
  • A handson mindset and the ability to work independently

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge in software development (python, DAX)
