For one of our international Clients at Isprox Consulting we are looking for an
Air Freight Manager.

Our client is a multinational solution provider within the supply chain sector, headquartered in Middle East and expanding their operation in more than 30 countries across Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.

The group has a proven track improving the integration of technology into their operation and offering their customers several options to track shipments.


Description of the role:


Develop, implement, lead and drive the Air Freight Product not only within the country, but globally develop the network as part of the Global Corporate Structure.

Maintain and develop carrier relationships, ensure adherence to management policies and strategic direction of the Company. Extensive product knowledge and strong procurement abilities are a must.

Key activities:

Customers
Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations at local level.

Develop and maintain new shipping line contacts to rapidly deploy product growth in the market.

Air Freight Department_

Ensure renegotiations of prices with carriers if necessary.

Country escalation point with carriers/shipping lines.


Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import and export laws and procedures; tariffs and duties; licences and restrictions.

Quarterly review of volume performance with carriers/shipping lines.

Ensure necessary documents for direct handling are provided to carrier/shipping lines.

Translates internal Trade Lane strategy towards carriers and aligns common goals.


Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, purchasing, materials management, production and overall operating functions.

Conduct product training as required by sales and product stakeholders.


Develop, align, implement, executive, and train country trade guidelines for increase of volume and quality of the FCL product within the county/regional organization.

Develop, promote, train innovative procurement model concepts and initiated to improve overall product competitiveness.


Create country Air Freight FCL market analysis consolidates and share market information including market development, competition, customer, and pricing trends for assigned country.

Provide rates to Sales.

Guide and support complex, multi-regional, requests for quote with the Regional Air Freight Head.

Provide country specific SOPs with Sales as required.

Compile with Trade Lane Manager related business requirements for (new) customers, inclusive best proactive sharing amongst assigned country and region.

Participate in and contribute to the annual sales target setting process for the Air Product. Provide growth plan initiatives to deliver budgeted ocean volume growth.

Supports driving Power Trade Lane tractions/growth.
