Functie:

  • You supervise the qualification of new suppliers making sure the dossiers are timely and adequately evaluated. This includes active support to EC assistants and regular interaction with key stakeholders from Purchasing, Project Management, QC and R&D.
  • You execute audits of suppliers of raw materials and service providers (contract laboratories, external warehouses etc... ). This includes reporting and followup
  • You act as primary interface between the internal project teams and the supplier in case of supplier related issues or events potentially impacting quality or compliance. This includes handling of supplier complaints, notifications and events until successful resolution or closure.
  • You actively followup supplier improvement action plans (CAPA) and act as needed.
  • You contribute to company's overall supplier management program through periodic supplier performance reviews, supplier risk management and participation to supplier business review meetings.
  • You establish, negotiate and maintain Quality Agreements with suppliers
  • You contribute to the maintenance and further improvement of the supplier management system and tools to support the External Compliance activities

Profiel:

  • You possess a Master or Engineering degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry or Chemical engineering or equivalent.
  • You have several years of professional experience either in a Production or Quality / Compliance environment.
  • You are an excellent and convincing communicator who easily connects with different people.
  • You have a professional knowledge of English and Dutch (written and oral).
  • You have an analytical and qualitative mind set to get to the bottom of things and a solution driven attitude whilst remaining within the procedural framework.
  • You are able to organise your activities in an organised and efficient way. Knowledge or experience with lean/sigma principles is an asset.
  • You have excellent knowledge of MSOffice tools. Experience with SAP or Sharepoint constitutes a plus.
  • You are willing to travel for short trips within Europe and occasionally outside Europe.
