Job Description
We are seeking a Group Manufacturing Controller to oversee financial budgeting & controlling across multiple plants. Reporting to the Group Controlling Manager, you will collaborate closely with regional management, including plant directors. This role demands ownership, initiative, and direct impact on organizational development. Interactions will span various stakeholders within the company, fostering a dynamic work environment. The position is based at our head office in Ardooie.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing all financial closings, supervising budgets, and KPI reporting for half of our plants uniformly;
- Collaborating with plants and sales teams to provide accurate insights and support continuous improvement efforts;
- Contributing to strategic financial decisions and coordinating financial plans to realize organizational goals;
- Advising on short- and long-term budgeting to facilitate informed decision-making;
- Establishing and monitoring financial reporting procedures to ensure high-quality reports consistently;
- Participating in projects to enhance systems and processes, supporting new initiatives and implementations.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Economics or Finance;
- 5-10 years of experience in budgeting & controlling, with a background in production environments;
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to engage with various stakeholders and non-financial profiles;
- People management capabilities are advantageous;
- Analytical mindset focused on quality delivery and process improvement;
- Hands-on approach, proactive attitude, and commitment to continuous improvement;
- Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of SAP and BI tools is beneficial;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, additional proficiency in French and German is a bonus.
