With more than a decade of experience and 771 MW under operational management in the Belgian North Sea, Parkwind is currently expanding internationally and has an active development pipeline of 4.5GW (net) across a number of European and other markets where it is working with a number of credible partners.
Parkwind is also constructing the 257MW Arcadis Ost 1 project in Germany which expected to reach full operation in 2024.

In light of its further international business expansion, Parkwind is looking to enlarge its
HSSE team with an
HSSE Officer.
Key responsibilities:
Support business development opportunities, projects in (pre)-development or construction, operational windfarms, as well as corporate processes and systems, by means of
- Assisting Parkwind to actively identify and manage HSSE risks.
- Facilitate regular internal and external HSSE meetings.
- Review Contractor HSSE Management Plans and oversee the implementation thereof.
- Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), Emergency Response Plans (ERP), etc.
- Participate in Hazard & Operability studies (HAZOP).
- Perform HSSE audits (e.g. contractor audits, vessel vettings).
- Followup on Unwanted Events (incidents, accidents, etc.).
- Develop and/or promote Parkwind HSSE processes, procedures, instructions, standards, requirements etc.
- Follow up on legal compliance.
- HSSE reporting and presentations.
- Assist in the sustainment and continuous improvement of an HSSE Management system in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Your profile:
- A Master's degree in a technical discipline.
- Relevant experience in a similar HSSE role, preferably in construction, energy or offshore.
- Inquisitive, analytical, with a systematic approach, who likes to work crossdepartmentally.
- High degree of independence, but also capable of working as part of a team.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in English; both spoken and written.
- Willing to work from Leuven (HQ), and occasionally from Oostende.
- Willing to occasionally join offshore operations (Full GWO training provided).
- Willing to travel for vessel vettings, contractor audits, site visits, etc.
