AIG's underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals.
About the roleWhat you need to know:
The role will predominantly involve:
Study, analyse, manage and quote general ledger major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes and tools:
- Manage, analyse and defend an existent portfolio of business.
- Build up a profitable book of new business.
- Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business.
- Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions.
- Participate in client/broker meetings.
- Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims.
- Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers.
- Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking.
- Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Relevant experience in the insurance environment.
- Dutch, French and English language capabilities.
- Commercial and analytical skills.
- Organizational Skills personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key.
- Communication Skills
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills. Build relationships and collaborate with others.
