For one of our clients in Belgium, we are looking for a
Functional Analyst who will join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • You can describe User stories qualitatively so that they are understandable and testable for all parties and in particular business and the developer.
  • You can include acceptance criteria in user stories. Describing a user story so that it is testable"
  • You can translate the business needs into a functional description for an IT system. You can monitor the defined scope and indicate the impact in case of changed business questions. You can assess the feasibility and necessity of the user requirements in consultation with the end user(s) and developers
  • You can qualitatively document and maintain Permanent documentation
  • You can manually test the functionality as described in the story to validate the included acceptance criteria (proxy testing).

Required Knowledge and Experience

Ordinary profile requirements

  • You can develop a Domain model in collaboration with Solutioning
  • You can develop a use case diagram and specification model. You can develop a Process flow that goes through the process steps involved
  • You can read and understand an Epic delivered by Solutioning so that you can develop the use cases in scope of the Epic based on this.
  • You can make a Cost benefit analysis, i.e. justify costs compared to the goal

Desirable requirements

You have knowledge of:

- basic concepts object-oriented design

  • Class detection
  • Relationships between classes
  • Class and object diagrams
  • Object Constraint, language (OCL)"

You have knowledge of:

  • Usecase diagrams Sequence and collaboration diagrams
  • State diagrams
  • WFTU
  • Activity diagrams
  • Packages Component

  • You have knowledge of DDD.
  • You have knowledge of data modeling (relational, dimensional,...)
  • You have basic knowledge of BPMN modeling, can understand this and make adjustments. You have knowledge of the BPMN basic elements such as Swimlanes, Flow objects, Connectors and Artifacts. You can translate business or organizational processes into visual models based on BPMN 2.0
  • You can provide input to the design team regarding the development of Wireframes to come up with a good proposal. You can give input to the design team about the development of Mockups to come up with a good proposal. You can provide input to the design team regarding the development of Screenflows to come up with a good proposal.
  • You can find and store the necessary information via Confluence"
  • You are able to independently write simple queries to select test data.
  • You have a general knowledge about how the web works, url redirect, domain, interfaces. You have knowledge of the concept of caching.
  • You can find and save the necessary information in EA Sparx
  • You have experience and are familiar with Security by Design. You have experience and are familiar with risk assessment and threat analysis. You contribute to building and maintaining secure design patterns. You have experience and are familiar with (functional) Security concepts such as Authentication, Authorization and Identification, Encryption,... You have experience in drawing up security requirements.
  • You have experience and are familiar with Privacy by Design. You are familiar with privacy and legislation."
  • You take on the role of 3rd line support within the helpdesk based on your existing analysis and business knowledge
  • You can support acceptance tests, support business analysts during test execution, analyze the test results
  • You have knowledge and experience in testing UX aspects such as Useability &Accessibility."
