Transport & Environment (T&E) is offering an internship within its shipping team for a period of six months, renewable for another six months, starting in October 2023.

Your Role
- Work on T&E's COP28 advocacy work, including drafting concise briefings, supporting data analysis, stakeholder mapping, and outreach to national delegates and event organisation;
- Contribute to T&E's work on green lanes, including analysing policy proposals, desk research on EU trade and stakeholder mapping;
- Support T&E's work on ferry decarbonisation, including outreach to relevant stakeholders, drafting concise letters, briefings and reports and responding to media interest;
- Provide adhoc support to the team on inter alia LNG campaigning, event organisation and EU legislative issues such as the Innovation Fund and sustainable fuels.
Your profile
- Proactive with strong interpersonal skills and very good writing and communication skills;
- An aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously;
- An interest in environmental issues and the EU, a willingness to learn and excellent knowledge of English as T&E's working language; numerical skills and aptitude in excel are desirable.
- Willing and able to move to Brussels for the role;
- Knowledge of how national, EU or UN politics works or climate policy is a bonus.
