Job Title: Operations & Compliance Manager at Belfius

Description:

  • You play a key role in maximizing the advantages of a high-performing physical office network with remote customer support.
  • In coordination with Connect2Net, you will help implement the strategy and vision where Belfius branch offices and the Belfius Connect contact center merge into hybrid functions. You will also contribute to enhancing remote activities within the physical network.
  • As an Operations & Compliance Manager, you report directly to the zone manager. You are jointly responsible, as a member of the management team, for all commercial outcomes, remote KPIs, and HR policies. You prioritize organizational and cross-functional approaches within the zone and ensure seamless integration between remote and physical operations through clear and frequent communication.
  • Your role involves organizing various tasks within the zone, such as managing hybrid functions, office task scheduling, vacation planning, employee training, and inter-zone coordination to facilitate proper shift scheduling.
  • You are expected to manage employee scheduling effectively and combine it with other necessary tasks within the zone in a tactful manner.
  • As an Audit and Compliance Manager, you are responsible for interpreting, implementing, and monitoring national guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • You provide strategic advice to the management team on resource allocation to accomplish cross-functional tasks and manage budgets efficiently, especially in regards to Real Estate related matters.
  • In the absence of another management team member, you act as a backup for the zone manager and have an overview of the zone's overall operations.

Requirements:

  • A senior profile with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Strategic and commercial acumen to develop and execute a vision within the zone.
  • The ability to coordinate zone operations with commercial goals, oversee administrative tasks, and ensure compliance.
  • Capability to work autonomously within strategic and budgetary frameworks or in collaboration with the management team.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in a second language (passive knowledge).
  • Good understanding of the financial sector.
  • Analytical and creative mindset with the ability to quickly analyze results and propose creative solutions.
