Come lead the youth service of the city. Inspire, motivate, and coach your team to give their best every day for the youth of Leuven. Your work is dedicated to and driven by young people, in collaboration with other departments and the thriving youth work scene in Leuven. Manage your team, the non-profit organization Stedelijk jeugdwerk Leuven, and budgets, within the legal framework and principles of good governance.

Profiel

You hold a master's degree, or you pass the capacity tests if you have at least a high school diploma. You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a hierarchical leadership role. Additionally, you have 2 years of experience in a role involving policy-making or project coordination in the context of youth work and policy and/or in the socio-cultural sector. This experience can be concurrent. You are a dedicated improver, a positive individual, a people-oriented leader. You are not afraid of procedures when necessary, providing clarity and a safe environment. You enjoy establishing broad collaborations and persuade through content and approach.

  You will have a permanent statutory position. You will work full-time.

  You will earn at least €4,560.20 gross per month for full-time work. We will consider your experience in the public sector and relevant private sector experience up to 10 years for your salary calculation. Calculate your salary
