IT-Planet is een gespecialiseerd informatica projectsourcing bedrijf, gelegen te Gent. We zijn actief bij diverse grote klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende ICT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Om ons team van 180 medewerkers te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een **SAS Administrator** om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in **Brussel**.

Functie

De functie is tweeledig en bestaat uit een gegevensgedeelte en een beheersgedeelte van het SAS-platform:
Data
- Deelnemen aan projecten op het gebied van Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Data Quality, Governance en Integratie met activiteiten variërend van technisch ontwerp, analyse of implementatie van taken in SAS DI.
- Technisch expert in SAS, maar ook in DWH-gegevensarchitectuur.
- Het vermogen om de inhoud van SAS-taken te begrijpen en te beheren (affiniteit met de zakelijke betekenis van gegevens, begrip van transformaties en gegevensstromen)

Beheer van het SAS-platform
- Evalueren, beheren en installeren van nieuwe versies van SAS-componenten.
- Toezicht houden op de dagelijkse uitvoering van SAS-taken, en actie ondernemen in geval van fouten.
- De beschikbaarheid van SAS-infrastructuurcomponenten, gebruikersbeheer en gegevensbeveiliging waarborgen.
- De verschillende banen definiëren en in productie nemen
- De samenwerking met onze infrastructuurpartner en SAS-ondersteuning beheren

Functie-eisen
- Je hebt ervaring met het implementeren van SAS Data Warehousing omgevingen.
- Je bent vertrouwd met de verschillende SAS Enterprise BI producten en componenten: Data Integration Studio, Enterprise Guide, Data Management Studio, Meta Data management en Workspaces.
- Je bent bedreven in het beheren van SAS server infrastructuren en het implementeren en aanpassen van SAS data warehouses, evenals het oplossen van prestatieproblemen.
- Je hebt ervaring/kennis in ETL-omgeving ontwerp vaardigheden en SAS, SQL, Python programmering vaardigheden
- Technieken voor gegevensmodellering en gegevenspopulatie (sterschema's, sneeuwvlokken, normalisatie)
- Projectbeheer, technisch leiderschap van BI-toepassingen
- Ten slotte beschikt u over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Frans, Nederlands of Engels.
