Mission

The Interline Manager is responsible for the correct implementation of the Other Airline (OAL) interline agreements, correct setup in the revenue accounting (Sirax Global) of the Special Prorate Agreements (SPA) and the follow up of all the billing processes and IATA clearing house settlements. The function reports to the Sales & Revenue Accounting Manager.

Tasks

Manage the accuracy, completeness of the interline inward and outward billing. Provide maximum efficiency in ticket data, postings and billing accurate values. Validate, Initiate recoveries where necessary. Ensure the correct figures for the monthly final revenue run are completed by the defined deadlines. Monthly journey closure is executed and finalized. Communicate with our revenue accounting provider, SIRAX, to ensure that accurate data is collected. The monthly closing activities in collaboration with Controlling: make sure that the accounts are reflecting an accurate monthly result. Participate in the Sirax Community, Passenger Revenue Accounting (LGBS) & IBSOPS meetings. Defend the standpoint of Brussels Airlines and ensure that our vision is aligned with the LHG strategies. Maintain the relationship with IATA Clearing House and submit the claims towards other airlines. Follows-up IATA resolution and procedures and adapt the company's processes accordingly. Update the daily task procedures on a yearly basis within the team according to the ICS recommendations. Participate in the yearly controls with the auditors and provide additional documentations where necessary. Supervise and manage the code share agreements. Update commission percentages, liaise with the handling agents and ensure on-time invoicing. Be the first point of contact for the team, assist and backup the Revenue Accounting Manager in the daily activities and escalate where needed.

Your profile

Bachelor degree e.g. Business, Economics, preferably majoring in Finance/Accounting/Marketing Previous working experience in Interline Comfortable in a fast changing environment Process oriented & project management skills Problem solver, solution-oriented, taking initiatives Flexibility: Coordination, work transversally with different people/teams on various topics At least Bilingual English/Dutch or English/French (both spoken and written) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in SAP, Sirax, IATA procedures Broad background in passenger revenue accounting processes
