**Functiebeschrijving**
Als SAS Developer kom je terecht in het Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence (DWHBI) team dat oplossingen voor Data Warehouse en Reporting onderhoudt en ontwikkelt voor verschillende klanten van de sociale zekerheid. Deze oplossingen worden dagelijks gevoed door talrijke ETL-processen, waarvan de goede werking de verantwoordelijkheid is van het DWHBI-team.
Ben je geïnteresseerd in Big Data? Je krijgt de kans om de ontwikkeling van projecten op dit gebied te ondersteunen en een opleiding in verschillende technologieën te volgen.
Je ontwikkelt mee nieuwe applicaties door je te baseren op de bestaande ontwikkelstandaarden en frameworks.
Je werkt aan het onderhoud en de evolutie van bestaande 'Data Warehouse'-oplossingen volgens de requirements van onze klanten.
Op basis van de functionele analysedocumenten opgesteld door de analisten en de technische voorschriften overgemaakt door de architecten verzeker je de ontwikkeling, testing en documentatie van de ontwikkelde applicaties.
Je bent eveneens verantwoordelijk voor de oplossing van bugs in verband met de code en ontwikkeling van nieuwe functionaliteiten.
Je neemt actief deel aan het oplossen van incidenten om de optimale werking van onze processen te garanderen.
Je werkt parallel aan verschillende activiteiten volgens de prioriteiten die tijdens de dagelijkse teamvergaderingen en in samenwerking met je collega's ontwikkelaars en analisten worden vastgesteld.
**Profiel**
Je bent bachelor in de Informatica.
Idealiter heb je al ervaring met Business Intelligence en de bijbehorende technologieën/processen. Het DWHBI-team werkt met:
- De SAS-taal (belangrijkste tool van onze ontwikkelaars), maar ook SQL
- Oracle DB-systemen, POSTGRESQL en verschillende soorten input-/outputbestanden (flat files, XML, JSON...)
- De Kimball-methodologie
- Diverse standaardtools van SMALS (Jira, Confluence, $Universe, Git, Jenkins,...)
Of je hebt een goede ervaring in toepassingsontwikkeling, je bent geïnteresseerd in het domein Data Warehouse Business Intelligence en je bent bereid je volledig in te zetten voor een opleiding in onze tools en technieken.
In een snel veranderend vakgebied met de opkomst van nieuwe methoden, technologieën (Big Data, Advanced Analytics,..) en uitdagingen, ben je nieuwsgierig, gepassioneerd en heb je een uitstekend leervermogen.
Je kan autonoom en methodisch werken en je kan je prioriteiten stellen.
Je hebt een passieve kennis van de tweede landstaal.
