Als Lead Mechanical Designer word je een integraal onderdeel van het toegewijde ontwikkelingsteam van één van onze klanten uit de regio Antwerpen, dat actief betrokken is bij het ontwerpen van innovatieve concepten, het uitvoeren van haalbaarheidstests en het realiseren van geavanceerde inkjetprinters. Je krijgt de kans om samen te werken binnen een dynamische teamomgeving.

**Als lead mechanical designer...**:

- Ontwikkeling en evalueer je het basisconcept van nieuwe projecten, en vertaal je ze naar concrete ontwerpen binnen vooraf bepaalde tijdsframes en budgetten. Je zorgt ervoor dat ontwerpen in lijn zijn met de normen van de klant.
- Je biedt technische en conceptuele ondersteuning aan het team. Je neemt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de kwaliteit van ontwerpen, houdt toezicht op het algehele ontwerp, probleemidentificatie en voorgestelde oplossingen. Je vertegenwoordigt het team in diverse projectvergaderingen en productgroepen. Jij bent de contactpersoon voor de toegewezen projecten bij onze klant.

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:

- Diploma Werktuigbouwkunde of Mechatronica.
- Passie voor mechanisch ontwerp en een drive om kwaliteit in evenwicht te brengen met tijd en kosten.
- Bereidheid om Creo Parametric en Windchill te leren.
- Sterke analytische vaardigheden, in staat complexe processen te analyseren en problemen in de juiste context te plaatsen.
- Uitstekende teamspeler met ervaring in multidisciplinair teamwerk.
- Nauwkeurig zijn in de uitvoering van je werkzaamheden.
- Communicatief vlot in de omgang en dat zowel in het Nederlands als het Engels.
- Consulting skills bezitten.
- Flexibel en positief ingesteld zijn.
