Ecolab is seeking a
Sales Development Manager to help grow our Institutional business, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries.

Customers include restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more.

You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining a number of large Corporate Accounts and prospecting street clients in a geographical area to be determined. A very extensive client portfolio of professionals.
  • The clients involved are mainly: wholesale distribution, restaurants and central kitchens, hotels, hospitals and retirement homes and schools.
  • You will work closely with our service team, sales team and partners within the company to implement best practices and resolve customer issues.
  • You schedule your days and appointments in an organizational and productive manner.
  • You are eager to learn and constantly educate yourself on Ecolab product/service offerings and industry conditions to achieve successful customer results.
  • You get excited about consultative selling and enjoy telling customers about our added value.

What are we looking for:

  • You have min 5 years of experience in field sales to professionals.
  • You already have experience in general management of a customer portfolio (securing new customers plus developing and expanding existing customers).
  • With a genuine prospecting and negotiation temperament, you combine relational ease, persuasiveness, result orientation, tenacity, autonomy and organization.
  • You speak French and a professional knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
  • You are ideally resident in the Walloon region.
