Context
The duties of a Sr. Linux System Engineer include designing, installing, maintaining and optimizing ICT infrastructure and ICT hybrid Data Center services that are critical to supporting business operations and 24/7 operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge level: at least five years of relevant Linux expertise; a bachelor's degree or its equivalent through experience
- Broad understanding of business procedures
- Prior project management and follow-up experience
- Drive, adaptability, and a wide range of ICT skills support your focus on the client and the solution
- Extensive understanding of the architecture, applied systems, and basic ICT principles found in contemporary data centers, including:
- Architecture of ICT infrastructure: high availability
- Middleware, NGINX, JBoss, automation, RedHat, RedHat Satellite, and Ansible
- You have prior experience creating reusable Ansible playbooks
- You've performed in-place and side-by-side updates using Red Hat
- You are well-versed in setting up and maintaining Linux setups
- Solid grasp of orchestration, CICD, and GIT
