Als BI Information Analyst sta je in voor het identificeren van business processen. Je documenteert deze om te begrijpen welke data elementen van belang zijn voor het bouwen van BI oplossingen. Dit doe je in eerste instantie naar het Data Mining team, in een latere fase doe je dit naar de andere teams toe.
Verder sta je in voor het opstellen van een fit-gap analyse om te bepalen waar het proces en de IT applicaties data ontbreken die een meerwaarde hebben voor data mining. Vervolgens documenteer je deze gaps. In dit kader stel je ook de Data Mining en BI requirements op in functie van de IT technische teams en de Product Owners. Je stelt deze scherp, verheldert ze en brengt ze op de IT planning. Je geeft ook mee vorm aan het implementeren van Data Mining oplossingen.
Je treedt op als gesprekspartner tussen BI technische collega's en gebruikers uit de business. Zo werk je enerzijds nauw samen met BI ontwikkelteams en tracht je anderzijds businesskennis te vergaren om het proces goed te begrijpen. Je biedt eveneens ondersteuning aan collega's bij vragen over business processen en business datamodellen.

Uw profiel
Je beschikt over een bachelor of master en kan terugblikken op een relevante ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie.
Je hebt een grondige kennis van SQL, Business Process Modeling en het begrijpen van datamodellen (o.a. via ERD's). Tevens heb je een basiskennis van Microsoft Excel.
Kennis van Microsoft Visio, concepten uit BI, Data Matching en Data Mining zijn een pluspunt.
Je hebt uitstekende relationele en communicatieve vaardigheden. Je kan op een gestructureerde en autonome manier opdrachten uitwerken. Tevens hecht je waarde aan het werken in teamverband.
Je zin voor analyse en synthese stelt je in staat kwalitatief werk af te leveren. Je bent eveneens gericht op het kritisch zoeken, verzamelen en evalueren van data. Hierbij heb je steeds ook oog voor het zoeken naar een oplossing wanneer nodig.
Tot slot heb je een goede kennis van het Frans.
