- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment.
- Effective people management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
You will develop creative approaches to reducing operational costs while improving overall data center efficiency. You ensure that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems and making repairs quickly In emergency situations or abnormal conditions, you manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures.In this role, you will lead a team responsible to maintain and operate sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in a critical facilities environment. You will provide daily assistance across technical teams, conduct tours of systems and assess their working order. You'll develop creative approaches to reduce operational costs while improving overall data center efficiency and ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards are consistently met. You will manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize recovery time from failures. In addition, you will be responsible for generating ideas, delivering recommendations to C-level executives, and driving implementation.

- Plan and execute campus operational budgets, expense forecasting, and manage established budgets.
- Set strategy and plan deployments across multiple sites.
- Lead efforts to integrate Google-wide strategy and execution with internal and external business partners.
- Create strategy for cost effective operations, focused on total cost of ownership.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching traditional data center and emergent challenges.
